Want to become ambassador?
Fill out the form below and explain why you would be a good fit as a GET Ambassador.
Things to keep in mind while requesting to be sponsored:
Must be 16 Years Old – Responsibility comes with age.
Submit request via email – Let’s face it, social media is great, but it is not the best or most professional way to ask a company to sponsor you. As a sponsored rider you are a form of advertising for the company so professionalism is always nice.
Wear a helmet and promote safe riding – Cracked noggins aren’t cool and neither is blowing lanes or cutting off cars. We don’t want to see it so if want to ride for us you shouldn’t do it either.
Spell Check – Abbreviations may be okay in texts to your friends but not to a company, once again professionalism is nice.
Look who is on the team – If you are riding with similar technique, style, and difficulty to those on the current team, then you may have a good chance of getting sponsored. If you just learned your first slide, or can do a total of 3 slides, you may want to keep working on your skills.
YouTube channels are good – Build up a YouTube channel showcasing your riding. It is a great way to advertise the companies you ride for as well as yourself.
Tell us what separates you from the rest of the sponsorship requests we receive.
Have knowledge – Have a good knowledge about longboarding but most importantly knowledge about us, GET.
Don’t send generic emails – Don’t copy and paste the same email you sent to 50 other companies. Believe it or not, a deck company is different than a wheel company so tailor your email to suit the company.
Tell us about yourself – Tell us your age, location, local board shop, and links to your social media pages.
